Launching of a Book written by Prof./Emeritus Johannes Kinfu

A Book entitled “Auditing – Introduction to Principles and Practices” authored by Prof./Emeritus Johannes Kinfu and edited by Ato Engida Bayou was launched at the Addis Ababa University, Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE) Campus  on October 19, 2009.

The cost of the publishing of the book was fully covered by our Chairman, Sheikh Mohammed H. Al-Amoudi. The Representative of MIDROC Ethiopia also noted that the Investment Group would continue to support the publishing of such teaching books.

The book is a result of a long time teaching and learning experience in accounting and auditing courses and collaboration with a former student who is now a successful practitioner and has written on management and accounting issues.  It is written for students as well as interested readers who want to enhance their knowledge and understanding of the accounting profession.

A panel discussion was also held during the launching of the book with comments, questions and answers by prominent scholars.

Participants included MIDROC Ethiopia Executives, enterprise managers, and businessmen.

The book is available for sale at the Universal and Mega Book Shops.
