Birr 107 million for the Amhara Development Association

Sheikh Mohammed H. Al-Amoudi and his family have donated USD 5,000,000.00 (USD Five Million) at the Fund Raising Telethon Program of the Amhara Development Association (ADA) that was held at the Millennium Hall of Addis Ababa on April 18, 2010.

Over and above his contributions, his Investment Group Companies have also donated millions of Birr at the Telethon Program. The overall pledge by Sheikh Mohammed H. Al-Amoudi and his companies is about Birr 107 million.

Apart from his huge direct investments in the country, Sheikh Mohammed H. Al-Amoudi, time and again has also been a great contributor to the development activities promoted in all regional states.

The above donations, this time around, further demonstrate his commitment to support the social and economic development endeavors being undertaken in his Motherland – Ethiopia.

It is also worth noting that MIDROC Ethiopia sponsored the founding conference of the Ethiopian Academy of Sciences held on April 10, 2010 at the UNECA, Addis Ababa.
