Addis Ababa (November 21, 2020) – The MIDROC Investment Group  opened its fifth “Queen’s Supermarket” at Nani Bulding which is the Corporate Head office of the conglomerate.

The new branch was officially opened by Deputy Mayor of Addis Ababa City Administration Adanech Abiebie and MIDROC Ethiopia Group CEO Abennet Gebre-Meskel in the presence of Ato Jemal Ahmed, CEO of MIDROC Investment Group (which presides the chain of the supermarkets), dignitaries and invited guests.

“Nani” building is designed with a supermarket store on its ground floor in mind- a store that aims to take in over 75 million Br in sales annually now.

Mayor Adanech expressed her pleasure for the opening of the new supermarket at Nani building and thanked MIDROC for its effort of branching out of the supermarkets to ensure the supply of basic consumption goods for the public at affordable and fair price.

It is to be recalled that a bigger branch of Queens Supermarket, the retail business under the was opened in Keranio area, western Addis Ababa, with an outlay of US$2.06 million (59.3 million Br) in August 2019.
