Addis Ababa (February 18, 2021) – The MIDROC Ethiopia Group (MEG) has launched a new organizational structure. The new organizational structure that came following the instruction and directive of the Group’s CEO, Ato Abennet Gebre-Meskel Oda who was appointed as CEO by Owner and Chairman of MIDROC Ethiopia, Sheikh Mohammed Al-Amoudi in June 2020, was announced today in an “EXECUTIVE LEVEL LEADERSHIP MEETING” at the corporate premises- MECHARE Meda.

Addressing the corporate executive members, Group CEO Ato Abennet called for change and change management and urged the leadership to exert maximum effort in unison to realize the desired goals in the construction, real estate, hotel, and health care sectors.

The CEO affirmed that the top management and owners of the company would maintain their unwavering support to the management and employees of the group companies in their effort made to attain the target objectives.

Group Deputy CEO, Ato Sultan Muhammed Aliya, in his keynote address on the occasion also indicated that the new restructuring is now materialized at the executive level as the result of the various activities undertaken as a prelude by the management under the direct supervision of CEO Abennet Gebre-Meskel.

The new Managing Director of MIDROC Ethiopia Getachew Hagos who made a PowerPoint presentation on the new organizational structure on his part indicated that the new structure is meant to bring about organizational hierarchical responsibilities and transparency.

The MIDROC Ethiopia Group is one of the country’s giant conglomerates and comprises a group of companies  operating in multifaceted business ventures including construction, real estate, hotel and health care sectors.
